As The Washington National Opera's 2007-2008 season drew to a close, Ms. Kunz literally opened the curtain with fellow chorister Teresa Reid in the company's light-hearted La Fille du Régiment (Daughter of the Regiment). The modern interpretation of Macbeth was stark and chilling, with an emphasis on the witchiness of the Lady. Ms. Kunz can add "mirrior conjuring" to her list of onstage skills, alongside "mirror spinning while singing in a squat position."

In February, Ms. Kunz, Henry Sgrecci and John McCrary presented the sixth annual Benefit Concert for Blessed Sacrament Catholic Community in Alexandria Virginia. An all Beethoven program with rave audience response, the evening included Ms. Kunz and the Festival Orchestra in the dramatic Ah, Perfido!

Last fall Ms. Kunz and pianist Patrick O'Donnell were the first Levine School of Music artists presented in the July-December 2006 Church of the Epiphany Tuesday Concert Series in Washington, DC. The duo performed four works by composer Libby Larsen: Cowboy Songs, Songs From Letters: Calamity Jane to her daughter Janey, 1880-1902, Margaret Songs, and My Ántonia.

Ms. Kunz and pianist John McCrary presented an all Schumann recital at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Community in Alexandria, Virginia. Included on the program was the beloved Frauenliebe und Leben (A Woman's Life and Love) and selections from Liederalbum für die Jugend op. 79 (Songs for the Young).

Ms. Kunz offered her all-day workshop in Body Mapping at Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Georgetown. This course is for any musician who would like to gain greater freedom and ease in playing, conducting or singing, and provides accurate, specific, practical information about the body and how it moves in support of that goal. For more information about bringing this workshop to your group, please contact Ms. Kunz.
